We've been getting a lot of submissions of non-canon characters and group pictures, and I would just like to remind everyone that: this is not a group for Bionicle OCs. (or group pictures)

BioGijinka Club Open!

I'm a little late on this as things have been busy on my end, but Nikira12 (https://www.deviantart.com/nikira12) has set up a general human Bionicle club! If you have pictures of humanized Bionicle characters not pertaining to this project, feel free to join and submit them there:

On the other hand, I would like to clear up the differences between these two clubs. Human-Bionicle (https://www.deviantart.com/human-bionicle) is a project club, whereare BioGijinka (https://www.deviantart.com/biogijinka) accepts all fanart depicting humanized Bionicle characters. If I had to give an awful and corny analogy, Human-Bionicle (https://www.deviantart.com/human-bionicle) acts as a Pokedex. We collect one (and only one) drawing of each character.

How to Claim a Character
Each character will only have one reference, but there are plenty of interesting characters in BIONICLE, so don’t be discouraged if your favourite character is taken!
Furthermore, many characters have multiple forms. (e.g. Turaga Vakama and Toa Vakama. Or Tahu Mata, Shadow!Tahu, Tahu Nuva and Tahu Mistika) In that case, there can be a different design for each form.
To claim a character that you would like to design, leave a comment in this journal.
